Specialist for the production of micro watch components on CAM

This two-year apprenticeship is aimed towards anyone who already has an apprenticeship certificate and is motivated and curious to learn a new profession in a modern and attractive environment.

You will start by learning the basics of mechanics, such as reading a technical plan, handling components and getting to know the various measuring methods. Later, the machine and all its secrets will be revealed to you.

The salary is progressive and will develop over the months of training. At the end of the training, the salary will be re-evaluated and adjusted each year according to skills and knowledge.

What job did you learn?

Apprenticeship in car mechanics, then I worked in car sales.

Why did you change fields?

I was no longer fulfilled in my job and was looking for another path, but still in mechanics. I ended up being the first employee to do in-house training at Minder.

What do you like about your job?

I would never have thought that with my hands I could make such small parts and work to the micron. Producing a part of this size on a machine that is totally mechanical is just impressive. It's clearly become a passion.

And finally, it's a well-paid job, which has also enabled me to start a family.
